Kitty Whitelaw is a Scottish artist and performer living in London
Kitty grew up in Alloa before training at Knightswood School in Glasgow. She was then offered a full scholarship to train at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom Surrey. Since graduation Kitty has a had an eclectic career in the Arts. Her passion and love of live performance has taken her across the world, in theatre, film and tv. She has performed in London, Paris and Singapore. She has worked with Guy Caron (Cirque du Soleil) Maggi Sietsma (Dragone) Broadway directors Michael La Fleur and Phil McKinlay.
Kitty is a regular gigging Jazz musician, In 2019 she will doing a number of ticketed shows in London. Please check her jazz page for more information. Kitty also writes her own original music with double bassist Tye McGivern under the name "Sealionwoman". They released their debut record, Siren in 2018 with independent music label Antigen Records. Kitty has sung jazz and her original music in venues all across London such as EARTH Hackney, Union Chapel, The Hippodrome Casino, Cafe de Paris and Cafe Oto.
